Get ready for one of the top classes of the year.

GD Vajra is one of our favorite Barolo producers. They control the legendary Luigi Baudana property in the hamlet of Serraluna, our favorite sub-region of Barolo, and make dynamic wines with respect of traditional and hands-off techniques.

In 2022, we acquired a vertical of their coveted wines: 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, and we're going to pop them all.

Join us for this deep dive into the region of Barolo, the Nebbiolo grape, the sub-region of Serralunga, and the specifics of 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 vintages. We'll cover climatic conditions during all of those years, detailing the impact on terroir while tasting through all four wines to further our understanding of Barolo and the Nebbiolo grape.

About the venue

The Campus Club at the University of Minnesota is an elegant venue for our wine classes and events. Located on the fourth floor of Coffman Union, it offers secure underground parking and incredible views of the Mississippi River valley and downtown Minneapolis.
