Virtual Talk on Ham House

Tue 9 Mar 2021 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM GMT

Online, Zoom

Description

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Roseanne Williams who will be presenting to us virtually on the topic of Ham House. Roseanne has served for a number of years on the National Trust Council in addition to being a long-standing member of our Association.

Situated on the River Thames Ham House is one of the National Trust’s rare examples of 17th century life, furniture, treasures and architecture in Europe.

Roseanne will share a snapshot of history and tell the story of how William Murray and his scheming daughter Elizabeth developed and furnished the House. The talk includes some of the history of the Stuarts and ends with how Ham House was given to the National Trust.

The talk will start at 6.30pm. We very much hope you will be able to join us.

Tickets cost £10 which include a donation to Ham House and CLWCA.

Details about how to access this virtual event will be shared with attendees on the day.

All event bookings are subject to our standard terms and conditions, which you can read here.
