Please join us for our Headteacher Talks & Tours being held  on Thursday 21st  November for students who are currently in Year 11 and who are considering applying to join our Sixth Form in September 2025.

Tickets for the Head Teacher’s talk at the sixth form open evening are now available to book! There are 350 tickets available for each talk, so please do ensure you book a ticket for every member of your party.

The talk will last approximately 40 minutes and will include details of our sixth form provision, subject options and entry requirements, scholars programmes (in engineering, medicine, linguistics, humanities and for students intending to apply for Oxbridge), extra-curricular opportunities, student leadership and much more!

This is a free event, however tickets for Headteacher Talks are mandatory - there will be no admittance to the Headteacher Talks without a ticket. Please do ensure you book a ticket for every member of your party. Tickets are strictly limited to 1 prospective Year 11 student seeking admission to Year 12 in September 2025, with up to 2 accompanying parents or carers. Due to limited numbers for the Headteacher Talks, we ask that you do not attend this event if your child is currently in Year 10 or below.

Headteacher Talks:

There will be two Headteacher Talks , which will last approximately 45 minutes. Please book from one of the two time slots available for the  Headteacher Talks (maximum of 2 visitors per booking):

• 6:15pm Talk (Tours will take place after your Talk only)

• 7:15pm Talk (Tours will take place before your Talk only)

You will be asked to show your ticket/QR code (either on a mobile phone or printed) on arrival, so please have them ready to be scanned.

Tours:

Tours will be happening throughout the evening - you do NOT need to book a ticket for the tour, only the Headteacher Talks for seating limitations.
If you are not able to attend the talk, you are still welcome to attend the Open Evening for a tour of the building and the opportunity to talk to Heads of Department and teachers about the subjects you are interested in studying. You will also have the chance to meet and talk to current Year 12 and 13s about life as a WP sixth former. You will not need a ticket for this. All tours will be finish by 7.45pm.

Please note that there is no on-site parking at William Perkin and the surrounding residential areas of the school site will become very congested. We suggest using public transport in order to reduce congestion and to respect the rights of our local residents.
