The Institute of Jewish Studies (IJS) at UCL is a research centre dedicated to the promotion of all aspects of Jewish scholarship and civilisation at the highest level of academic excellence.

We are dedicated to our founding principle that there should be no barriers to learning so we make every effort to reach a wide audience through our lecture programmes, conferences, and collaborations with academic institutions in the UK and abroad.

All our events are free to attend and open to everyone.
