What can you expect from our community days?

We run two community days a year ‘for the community, by the community’. They are run as not-for profit events on a volunteer basis by members of the Co-Active community. 

The objectives of each community day are to provide connection, learning and fun.

These events are designed to help you as a CTI alumnus connect with your fellow co-actives, catching up with people you already know and meeting those you don’t. We also provide the space for you to learn something new along the way, while having fun doing it!

Every co-active is welcome at our events, wherever you’re based in the world and whether you’ve only attended one course with CTI or you’ve been in the community for 20 or even 30 years.

Even if you don’t know anyone at the start of the day, we make it super easy for you to connect through activities during the event and during the breaks. Maybe you’ll come away with a brand new bestie!

Who is on the organising team for this event?

The event team this time consists of Shivaun McCullough, Richard Jones, Tanya Yavas, Eric Linden Laird Craig and Marigold Palmer-Jones.

The space between us

The theme ‘the space between us’ came from multiple encounters the event team has had recently. We’re really inspired by this concept and are already formulating ideas for the day. If you buy a ticket, we’d love to hear “what does the theme mean to you?” You’ll be able to share in the especially-created WhatsApp group for ticket holders or drop us an e-mail at hello@coactivecommunity.com.

More about the venue

We have decided to hold our Spring 2026 event at the beautiful Westminster Quaker Meeting House. The house is located right in the heart of London's West End and is primarily a place of Quaker worship. It provides an oasis of calm for contemplation, reflection, meditation, healing and spiritual well-being and is home to a varied and dynamic community of spiritual groups, healing practitioners, and people exploring other forms of personal growth.

Where is the venue and how do I get there?

The entrance is at 8 Hop Gardens, just round the corner from St Martins Lane. The venue is a five-minute walk from Leicester Square and Charing Cross tube/ train stations (Northern line, Piccadilly line, Bakerloo line), and Waterloo train station is just across the river.

What are the accessibility measures?

Step-free access is available. Please let us know if you will require this ahead of time so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

What’s included in the ticket price?

As well as a full day’s programme, tea, coffee and snacks are provided. Please bring your own refillable water bottle, pen and paper. Lunch is not included, but the venue is right in the heart of the West End so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding eateries.

What is the cancellation policy for this event?

You are entitled to a full refund if you let us know you can't make it at least 14 days before the date of the event by e-mailing us at hello@coactivecommunity.com. No refunds or rollovers to future events are available if you cancel with less than 14 days to go before the event or you are unable to make it on the day.
