Get into Semiconductors - Newcastle University

Join us at Newcastle University, for a day of exploring careers in engineering and the semiconductor industry.

This event is designed for students aged 15-18 studying Physics, Computer Science, or those interested in a rewarding career in engineering.

Get insight into the UK Semiconductor sector, and the vital role it plays in solving some of societies biggest challenges. Hear sample lectures and participate in a fun and hands-on Microcontroller activity.

The event is limited to a maximum of 60 attendees. Tickets are limited to up to 15 students per school, when booking please select the number of pupils you would like to bring along. If there are spaces still available for the event 10 days prior, then we welcome schools to register further tickets. School transport costs can be reimbursed. Please contact info@ukesf.org before booking.

Lunch will be provided and dietary requirements will be requested after booking.

Photographs will be taken on the day for marketing purposes, websites and social media. Media permission forms will be shared with registrants for parents/guardians to complete. We ask that school colleagues return these forms to education@ukesf.org prior to the event.
