Making the most of LinkedIn as a fundraiser

Online, Zoom
Description
Do you sense you could do more with your LinkedIn account? You've got one, you have some useful contacts as a result, you post sometimes, but it doesn't do too much for you. And it's on your list to fix...
Join UK Fundraising's Howard Lake for 90 minutes to learn how, as a professional fundraiser, you can make much more of your LinkedIn account.
Boost your reputation, support your fundraising team members, focus on relevant sector developments (but not to overload), and find useful contacts.
We'll start from scratch and then run through the various opportunities you have. We'll tackle all those niggling questions:
* what do I post?
* how often should I post?
* how can I tell if it's working?
* is it worth spending time on LinkedIn in the fundraising sector?
* how do I get found, and how do I get relevant people to follow me?
* should I join groups, read or publish a LinkedIn newsletter?
* should I get the paid-for version?
* Is LinkedIn for Nonprofits useful?
* Are there any automations or AI tools to save me time?
* I know I need to use LinkedIn, but what is the absolute minimum I can do to make it work
And more...
You certainly don't need to have a paid-for LinkedIn membership to benefit from this course. We'll focus on the free functions and opportunities.
Who is the course for?
Anyone in the fundraising sector. Fundraisers, fundraising agency staff, directors of fundraising, CEOs and board members, and funders.
Fundraisers looking ahead to their next role.
Fundraisers who are new to the sector and want to make some useful contacts.
Fundraisers who have been around for quite a while and just haven't got round to sorting what LinkedIn can do for them.
It is not for fundraisers wanting to learn about how to use LinkedIn for fundraising, donor research or communications. It is focused on how individual fundraising professionals can use it for their own career, education, networking and more.

What do people say?
"I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a massive thank you for this morning’s course. It was very interesting and I am looking forward to trying out Canva and Snapseed. We try to publish on social media but neither of us have much experience in that field so it has been really useful and I am looking forward to next week’s session. I only work a day a week so time is very precious and I think these hints and tips and new apps to try will really help"

"Thank-you so much for part 1 of the course this morning. It was just what I was looking for and I am inspired to get creating my own images! Really useful with great suggestions of simple apps and tools to look at now too."
