UKPTS Annual Conference 2024
The UKPTS is delighted to announce the 2024 Annual Conference: Trauma Care: Towards an Integrated Approach. As our understanding of trauma and its impact develops, we are moving towards more integrated and holistic approaches to best support those with trauma-related symptoms and disorders. UKPTS2024 will focus on the challenges and opportunities of providing inclusive and integrated care, intended to meet the needs of people suffering the effects of psychological trauma.
Join us as we explore the biomedical, mind/brain-body, and socio-economic perspectives of trauma care. Our keynotes and masterclasses will cover a variety of topics including psychedelics, functional disorders in children and adults, an new model of trauma management in primary care, equality and inclusion, and the power threat meaning framework.
The one-day conference will feature speakers from across the psychotraumatology and healthcare fields, encompassing primary and secondary care, civilian and military populations, philosophy and politics, from child to adult, and across the life course from child to adult. UKPTS2024 will be hosted in the stunning surrounds of Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
Building on the success of our role of host society for ESTSS 2023 in Belfast, we look forward to welcoming you to Oxford for what promises to be a day of fascinating insight, exploration, and discussion.
