The impact of childhood trauma is significant and far-reaching, affecting the development and well-being of children and young people and continuing into adulthood. Furthermore, many individuals affected by trauma are marginalised, with the impact of trauma under-represented in clinical and research settings. Communities and services are attempting to cope with this wide-ranging impact, and our understanding of childhood trauma and adversity is constantly evolving. UKPTS Leeds 2025 will bring together a range of experts to explore these issues, providing a space to share and learn about how we can understand and address the impact of childhood trauma and adversity.
