Ulverley PTA Fireworks, Olton, Solihull, 2024

Ulverley School PTAF are pleased to welcome you to our second annual fireworks display. We had fantastic success and feedback last year with 95.7% of survey respondents confirming they enjoyed their evening! With the success of last years event, we are reducing prices this year despite our costs rising to host the event. We hope to see a larger turnout than the circa 1250 people we had last year. Ulverley School are located in Olton, Solihull.

How to find us:

Our entrance to the event is through our Highwood Avenue Gates, on the Dovehouse Lane end of Highwood Avenue. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO ENTER FROM RODNEY ROAD AS THE GATES WILL BE LOCKED. SEE MAP BELOW.

There is no on-site car parking but you can park around the school on the road. Please check for any restrictions if you park on single yellow lines - do not park on double yellow lines. Our preference is for as many people as possible to come on foot where possible please to reduce traffic/congestion.

What's on and event timings:

- 5pm gates open on the Highwood Avenue Entrance to the school.

-  5.30pm Online Ticket Sales end.

- 6.30pm Doors close/Ticket Sales end & will not reopen until after the fireworks event (excluding those who would like to leave before the regular noise part of the display, they will be escorted out safely).

- 7pm: with a sensory themed dance routine surprise - Confirmed

- 7.15pm: 7 minutes 30 seconds of reduced noise display (for younger children and people with noise sensitivity).

- 7.25pm: 5 minute Diwali display

- 7.30pm: 7 minutes 30 seconds of a regular display.

- From 5pm until close *Updated* (paused during the displays/weather dependent). Swing Boats, bungee trampoline, cups and saucers, inflatable play house, along with many games stalls.

- Katey's Corner Usbourne Book Sales

- From 5pm until finish (paused during the displays).

 Dinner/Food: Alcoholic Beverages Bar, Woodfired Pizza, Burritos, Ice creams, Doughnuts, Waffles, Hot Drinks, burgers, chips, sausages, Asian cuisine, *Update*, PTA Sweets/Drinks/Glow Up Toys Stall. Among the food vendors vegetarian, vegan and halal options will be available - please ask them before you order. Our vendors all pay a donation to the PTA for attending and are all small local businesses so we'd encourage you to support them as it also supports us as a PTA.

- Toilets and Baby Change/Accessible Loo.

- Music (subject to weather and PA system working).

- St John's Ambulance volunteers for health and safety.

All profits raised from the Ulverley School PTAF fireworks will ultimately be reinvested into the school. This will benefit the children and support future events put on by the PTAF.

LOW NOISE/QUIET AREA:

We have a seperate area cordoned off for those with noise sensitivities to enjoy the low noise display and the sensory glow up dance. If you'd like to use the area please email me: pta@ulverleyschool.co.uk.
