We are thrilled to announce the 79th Anniversary Celebration of the United Nations, taking place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Madison, Wisconsin. This year’s theme is “The UN Needs US and WE Need the UN - The World is on the Move.”

Our keynote speaker will be Ms. Alesia Morris, the Great Lakes Regional Representative and Advocacy Chair for the Detroit Chapter. Ms. Morris will share insights from the 68th UN Civil Society Conference in Nairobi and discuss critical topics such as human trafficking and migration.

The event will also feature a panel discussion on “Mobility Migration: Legally and Illegally as the World is on the Move,” delving deeper into these pressing issues.
