Perimenopause ...But Make it Hot

A night of hilarity and reclamation!

Learn about perimenopause using romance novels - rewrite some of those sexy scenes with a perimenopausal character in mind! Learn zine making (do-it-yourself mini-magazine) - explore your relationship to perimenopause (now or in the future) and romance in the narrative you create with art supplies we bring.

All kinds of ways to play: If you are coming to learn more about perimenopause we’ll have conversations and provide trusted resources. If you are coming to dive deep into your spicy side we’ll have some classic sex scenes for you to jump off from. If you are coming to learn about zines or get crafty we’ll have templates and snazzy materials to play with. Looking to learn more about perimenopause? Check out our resources.

Bonus: there will be Barbies involved– the “Barbie buffet” will offer a range of resources (e.g., dolls, clothes, furniture, small objects) to stage scenes and potentially produce tiny photographs (with our special cameras) and maybe (we can’t promise) hilarious romance-based Barbie videos we will share at the event.

Tickets: This event is ticketed due to limited space. Tickets include all Zine supplies, access to our tables and information, a Zine from our selection, and one drink from Divine Barrel.
