How do we show up for our students in the midst of crisis and destabilization? What does it mean to be a trauma-informed teacher when the trauma is fresh and ongoing daily? And how the heck do you do any of it when you, too, are just trying to hold it together?

There are no magic strategies for this time in history, but trauma-informed teaching provides some guidance. In this workshop, we'll talk about:

  • Your own wellbeing, sustaining your work, and navigating moral injury
  • Creating felt safety during unsafe times
  • Balancing predictability and flexibility
  • Considerations for talking about/processing current events

And we'll leave a good chunk of time for Q&A/to talk together as a group.

My pay-what-you-can workshops are interactive and conversational. Serious learning, relaxed vibes.

This is a live workshop with no recording. See you there.
