Changemaker Community Cohort - summer/fall 2026
The Changemaker Community Cohort is a space for educators to come together and share ideas, strategies, and solidarity connected to their changemaking work. If you’re a teacher (or counselor, or school leader, or support staff) who’s trying to shift your school toward more human-centered, trauma-informed practices, this is a space for you to connect with others on the same journey. It’s a good fit for you if you feel a little stuck or isolated in your school change work—the community in this group might be just the breath of fresh air you need.
The experience: in August, we’ll meet every Tuesday night and do a book study of my book Becoming an Everyday Changemaker together, exploring tools and strategies for sustaining our changemaking. Then, starting in September, we’ll meet the first Tuesday of each month to check in, share how things are going, and use the wisdom of the group to help each other problem-solve and get unstuck.
Meeting dates (all at 7:00 -8:15pm Eastern time)
August 4, 11, 18, 25
September 1
October 6
November 3
December 1
Pricing: you'll see three different pricing tiers when you register and you can choose any one of them in a pay-what-you-can model. If your school or institution is paying your way, I encourage you to choose the higher tiers so you can support access for all. Thank you!
There will also be an option to order a signed copy of Becoming an Everyday Changemaker for the book study (you can also get a copy for yourself from your local bookstore or library, or the ebook or audiobook versions). There is also an optional add-on of 1:1 coaching sessions you can use throughout our cohort.
