Iain Dale, broadcaster, author, editor, publisher and political commentator, will be speaking at the Underriver Village Hall on Sunday 20th October at 6pm.
He will be talking about the 2024 UK General Election as well as his most recent book “British General Election Campaigns 1830 – 2019”.
Iain will be joined by three of the book’s contributors:
- Tim Stanley who is a writer, historian, columnist and broadcaster as well as being born and brought up in Sevenoaks
- David Walsh is a historian and solicitor working in the Lloyds Market in London
- John Barnes is a constitutional and political historian who wrote a biography of Stanley Baldwin
Iain will also be selling some of his recently published books on the night which you can also have signed by him – maybe an early Christmas present? His books (and many others) are available at his online bookstore https://www.politicos.co.uk/.
You can also listen to Iain on his LBC show 7.00-10.00pm Monday to Friday as well as his podcasts “All Talk”, “The Prime Ministers and Presidents” and “For The Many".
The talk will start at 6pm. Doors open at 5pm.
