Unexpected Music III

Unexpected Music is a mini experimental music festival in the historic context and unique acoustic setting of Maverick Concert Hall in Woodstock, NY (site of John Cage's 4'33" premiere). This year's program, the third annual iteration, will boast a unique and varied lineup featuring the time-morphing composer Ellen Arkbro, grammy nominated Gnawa musician Samir Langus, acclaimed minimalist David Moore (Bing & Ruth) alongside a trio performance by local composers/improvisors Ben Vida, Evan Shornstein and Will Epstein and a short opening set on Kawlabo Spiron by Eli Crews.
