Unexpected Music III

Unexpected Music is a mini experimental music festival in the historic context and unique acoustic setting of Maverick Concert Hall in Woodstock, NY (site of John Cage's 4'33" premiere). This year's program, the third annual iteration, will boast a unique and varied lineup featuring time-morphing Swedish composer Ellen Arkbro, grammy nominated Gnawa musician Samir Langus, acclaimed minimalist David Moore (Bing & Ruth) alongside a trio performance by local composers/improvisors Ben Vida, Evan Shornstein and Will Epstein and a short opening set on Kawlabo Spiron by Eli Crews. Food and drink will be available on site. 

Maverick will also be the site of the third iteration of "Unexpected Chimes" a one-day-only wind chime exhibition curated by Linnéa Gad.
