So pull up a chair and join us at Rooster & Owl for part of their AANHPI Friends of the Flock series!

Every Wednesday in May, Rooster & Owl (a Michelin-starred, AANHPI-owned New American concept) is hosting “AANHPI Friends of the Flock.” The series features an AANHPI guest chef for a one-night-only, five-course tasting menu—thoughtfully composed and collaboratively executed with optional beverage pairings & specialty cocktails. The AANHPI series is about celebrating the depth and diversity of AANHPI cuisine through collaboration — not just showcasing dishes, but telling stories through food. 

For this evening, Chef Yuan Tang and Erik Bruner Yang will be collaborating on a special menu.

Chef Erik Bruner-Yang is the James Beard Award Finalist behind the acclaimed and beloved D.C. restaurant and community space Maketto, as well as his newest venture, Bar Providencia.

Chef Yuan Tang conceptualized Rooster & Owl to develop inventive, contemporary American cuisine in a fun, collaborative environment. Previously, Tang worked at three-Michelin-star Jean Georges and one-Michelin-star The Modern and was the sous chef at one-Michelin-star Dovetail in New York City.

The menu will be confirmed about a week before the event! Drink pairings will be available for purchase on site.

A Note on Dietary Restrictions

The restaurant cannot accommodate guests with allium allergies or those who require a vegan diet. While they can accommodate some allergies, the menu is fixed.
