About the Event:

This gathering serves as a significant milestone, marking our return to face-to-face interactions since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to reintroduce the heart of our music community, the DMV Music Stakeholders, to each other. It's a unique opportunity to meet the visionary leadership of the DC Music Stakeholder Coalition, get insights into current and upcoming initiatives, and understand our advocacy process intimately.

Meet the Stakeholders:

The DC Music Stakeholder Coalition stands as a testament to community strength. For the past three years, our advocates and community leaders have met weekly, sharing resources, building solidarity, and proposing policies. With over 300 members, our coalition includes artists, managers, agencies, producers, art collectives, cultural nonprofits, festivals, music educators, recording studios, and venues. We represent every ward and almost every major musical community in the DMV. Formerly organized by Chris Naoum and Aaron Myers, our coalition is now led by the passionate visionaries, Dior Ashley Brown and Stacey Williams.

This event will be a platform for sharing, learning, and connecting. Whether you're an artist, a manager, a producer, or part of any musical entity in the DMV region, your presence will make a difference.
