About the Instructors

Sheila Ludwig became interested in Buddhism around 2010, self-exploring basic concepts through reading a variety of texts. Her first contact with FCM was in 2014 with an FCM sitting group that met on Marco Island; she then became involved with the Naples Sangha. Sheila subsequently joined FCM to further explore the practice through Intensives, Retreats, Days of Mindfulness, and additional offerings. She has served in both Naples and the greater Tampa Sangha in numerous capacities, currently serving as Naples Sangha Coordinator and sitting on the FCM Board of Directors. Sheila has completed the Presenter Training Class of FCM, is ordained in the Order of Interbeing (OI), and is a member of the OI Council. Sheila and her husband Jim recently moved to Naples full time after having been seasonal residents for a number of years.

June Hemberger has been a student of FCM’s teacher, Fred Eppsteiner, since 2016. Since then she has been studying and practicing mindfulness, meditation and Buddhism. As FCM-Naples' Head of Sangha Care, she organizes help and support for people in the sangha. She coordinates the FCM-Naples Book Club, the New Member Tea, and is a member of the FCM-Naples Leadership team. She returns to Norwich, VT in the summer, with her partner Steve and her mini poodle, Lily. Before retiring, she had the good fortune to be a teacher, retail business owner, management consultant, trainer and medical practice manager.
