The EMPCC gives UHL a unique opportunity to transform how we deliver planned care services across the region. Our ambition supports excellence, innovation, and patient choice, leading the way regionally and nationally to establish EMPCC as a benchmark for others.

What does this mean for you?

The centre will enable us to continue to deliver planned care even during the busiest periods when our hospitals must focus on urgent and emergency care. We expect 100,000 units of patient activity every year at EMPCC, focusing on high volume, low complexity activity.
