We invite you to attend our panel event, Making An Impact With Your Degree! This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from alumni and learn more about how they are making an impact in their profession with their University of Bristol degree. The event includes an opportunity for Q&A with the alumni, as well as a networking opportunity with your peers across different disciplines within Social Sciences, and our guests. 

The Panels
We have three panels running consecutively, so you can attend the panel that aligns with your programme of study. Our panelists are: 

Education - Psychology of Education
Hear from our panel of experts who studied MSc Psychology of Education:

Tabitha Tossell - Deputy Head of Project Management at Department of Health and Social Care (UK)

Public Policy and Policy Research
Hear from our panelists who studied MSc Public Policy and MSc Policy Research: 
Brandon Dobson - Policy Advisor at Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (UK)
Pouria Paridar - PhD Candidate (transport simulation of disease spread) at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands)

Some of our guests will attend in person, whilst some will attend remotely. 

The event schedule
We will run as follows: 

  • 11am - 11:15am arrival, register attendance, refreshments 
  • 11:15am - 12:30pm Panel discussion and Q&A 
  • 12:30pm - 2pm Lunch, networking

You can leave before 2pm if you have other commitments, but we would love for you to stay with us for lunch and networking.
