Build your narrative with storytelling: A workshop

Tue 23 Jun 2026 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM 8-10 Berkeley Square, room 1.13, BS8 1HH

The context:  We all have read (and written!) documents that amount to a list of statements, with no clear sense of direction, no clear explanation on why we should care about all of it. Stories bring meaning, help us think and process information.

The goal:  This workshop is an invitation to think and express your work, career or a project as a journey. We will explore context, key moments, direction of travel, important players, etc, using creative techniques.

What you can do to prepare:  Review/ think about what you would like to explore. It might be your CV or career so far, your research, or non-research project, your team, etc.

Consider: who is part of this work, where are you coming from and where are you going, challenges, unique strengths, etc.

What I hope you will get:

  • A new perspective and insights on your journey.
  • Tools and ideas to build a narrative.
  • Benefit from collaborative work with peers.

The workshop will be mostly interactive, and you will be invited to work by yourself as well as share with others.

Location

8-10 Berkeley Square, room 1.13, BS8 1HH
