This seminar will introduce you to the Data Hazards Project - an initiative to help researchers explore and communicate the ethical implications of data intensive research and development - beyond the usual approach of ticking boxes for an ethical review committee.
We believe that thinking through the ethical issues of a data projects can be both fun and lead to more effective, fairer and impactful outcomes.
You will learn about the Data Hazards approach to identifying ethical risks and mitigations and be invited to apply the Data Hazards approach to your own work.
This session is open to all researchers, research professionals, technicians, PGRs, UG and PG students.
