You are invited to an interactive discussion about Climate Health and Health Equity with one of UC’s preeminent educators. Dr. Arianne Teherani is Professor of Medicine and Education Scientist in the Center for Faculty Educators at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and an alumna of UC Irvine. She is also Founding Co-Director for the UC Center for Climate Health and Equity. This session will begin with basic understand onf the climate and health crisis followed by a discussion of how those challenges affect people’s access to health, disparities, and health care, followed by possible solutions to these challenges and what we as individuals can do to negotiate these challenges.
