Dr. Bamforth is past President of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling and the author of several works on beer and brewing science including Beer is Proof God Loves Us.
73 Enid Street is Cloudwater Brewery's new London taproom, a recent addition to the infamous "Bermondsey Beer Mile".

About Professor Bamforth
Dr. Bamforth is originally from the United Kingdom, having grown up in Lancashire. He graduated with a Ph.D from the University of Hull in 1977. After several years of working in the beer industry with positions at Brewing Research International and Bass Brewers, he took up the post of Anheuser-Bush Endowed Professor of Malting and Brewing Sciences at UC Davis in 1991.
He has received the Award of Distinction from the American Society of Brewing Chemists (2011), and the Cambridge Prize from the Institute of Brewing (1984).
