Join the UC Alumni UK Sustainability Committee for an interactive conversation about the Paris Agreement on climate change, global carbon budgets and an update on Sustainability at Haas with Professor Michele de Nevers.

Michele de Nevers is the Executive Director of Sustainability programs at the Haas School of Business and has been tasked with making Haas the best business school for sustainability. She also teaches Climate Change policy at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).

Professor de Nevers will provide a short introduction to the science of climate change and the status of global negotiations, including progress in achieving the Paris Agreement goals. The discussion will also cover the global carbon budget and explore technology and policy options to stay within the budget. She will discuss Berkeley Haas Sustainability initiatives, such as the Energy Institute at Haas, the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics, the Sustainable Food Initiative, the Center for Responsible Business, the Sustainable & Impact Finance initiative and the Center for Financial Reporting and Management.
