Sustainability Talks: In Conversation with Professor Roland Geyer about the book "The Business of Less"

Join us for an interactive discussion with Roland Geyer, author of The Business of Less (Routledge, 2021). Dr Geyer is a professor at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, University of California at Santa Barbara.

The Business of Less challenges the corporate sustainability gospel of ‘eco-efficiency’ and ‘win-win’ and suggests that four pollution prevention principles ‘again’, ‘different’, ‘less’, and ‘labor, not materials’ can make companies and households more sustainable.

To facilitate the conversation, we encourage you to submit questions for Professor Geyer during registration and to read a selected excerpt from The Business of Less that we will send you in advance of the webinar. Attendance will be capped at 20 people.

All proceeds will support sustainability initiatives at your UC campus.
