‘Borderlines and Border Cities’ with Lewis Baston (political journalist and author)

In this talk, the journalist, author and political analyst, Lewis Baston, will discuss Europe’s often overlooked borderlands. These spaces are sometimes open, but invariably sealed with barbed wire, customs posts and border guards. 

Based on his bestselling book, Borderlines, Lewis will discuss life in the borderlands from Ireland in the west through to Ukraine in the east, with special mention of Chester, as a more familiar border city.
