Active Campus Run Club
Our Run Club is open to University of Leeds staff and students of all abilities. Whether you’re a regular runner or just getting started, this is a great way to build a wellbeing break into your day, meet others, and enjoy being active outdoors.
We run every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:05pm, meeting at The Gryphon Performance Hub on Cromer Terrace.
All our runs are led by a qualified run leader and are in groups of similar ability allowing you to socialise, have fun and get some fresh air. We make use of the lovely green areas around us including Woodhouse Moor and Woodhouse Ridge.
Please join our General | Active Campus Run Club on MS Teams for the latest updates.
Please note the following:
To help keep everyone safe and supported:
- You must sign up beforehand
- Please only attend if you are fit and well enough to take part in physical activity on the day
- If you require medication (e.g. inhalers), please ensure you bring it with you and it is readily accessible during the session
Where we'll meet you:
- The Gryphon Performance Hub on Cromer Terrace, University of Leeds Campus, with free use of lockers, changing rooms, toilets and showers for all participants.
- On arrival let the reception team know you are here for the Active Campus Run Club session. If the reception is not manned go straight through to the changing rooms, down the stairs and the Ladies is on the left and the Men's is on the right
- Once ready, we will convene in the entrance area.
- Run leaders will walk/slowly jog at whatever is the best speed for you up to Woodhouse Moor where the session will begin. You can return to The Gryphon Performance Hub on Cromer Terrace to use the changing facilities after the session.
