As part of the Active Campus programme, this year we will be launching a range of Learn to Play courses. On the Learn to Play Squash course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to play Squash over 6 weeks, from learning the basics of positioning, rallying and rules, to being able to play a match! Our Learn to Play courses are open to all current University of Leeds students. This course will be led by volunteers from LUU Squash club who are not necessarily qualified coaches but bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of the game to develop your skills. This learn to play course is designed as an introductory pathway to Badminton and sport at the University of Leeds, providing you with the skills and opportunity to pursue further activity at the University via clubs or Active Campus.

The 6 week course dates are:

Thursday 29th October 4:30-6pm

Thursday 5th November 4:30-6pm

Thursday 12th November 4:30-6pm

Thursday 19th November 4:30-6pm

Thursday 26th November 4:30-6pm

Thursday 3rd December 4:30-6pm

You don’t need any special kit, and all equipment will be provided (but feel free to bring your own racquet if you have one). Wear trainers and comfortable clothing. We also recommend bringing some water. Showers and lockers are available on site.

Upon booking onto this course, you will receive a booking confirmation email including a QR code. Please present this QR code along with your name to one the session leaders at each session.
