UK RAS STEPS Special Interest Group Showcase

Following the success of last year’s UK RAS STEPS Technical Showcase at the Science Museum in London, we’re excited to announce this year’s event will take place at The National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University.

The showcase (9.00am-5.15pm) will throw the spotlight on our Special Interest Groups, celebrating their achievements, exploring new opportunities, and sharing plans for the final 18 months of the project. So if you have been or would like to be involved in Advancing Sustainable 3D Printing Practices; Automation of Liquid Handling; AI & Automation; Manufacturing for and with Robotics; ROS or Microbots & Sensing sign up now!

There will be opportunities for group members to present their achievements and activities, networking and focussed sessions on what's next for UK RAS STEPS. We will also hold an evening reception at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh (7-10pm) to continue conversations. A detailed agenda will be circulated in the coming weeks. 

UK RAS STEPS will fund all related travel, accommodation (maximum of two nights of 9th & 10th June) and subsistence for Research Technical Professionals working in robotics and autonomous systems. Please note: if you are an academic, researcher, post-doc or PhD student, you are not eligible for funding and spaces will be prioritised for RTPs.
