CHORAL Research Event 2026
The CHORAL Research Event will bring together researchers, clinicians and partners to celebrate the progress and development of CHORAL (Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds) and build further opportunities.
The highly interactive programme will showcase activity across our community, create opportunities for new collaborations, and support people and teams to forge new research ideas. A particular emphasis will be on developing child health researchers of the future.
During the day we will be hearing from Prof Sir Terence Stephenson, Chair of the Health Research Authority, and Professor Joanne Patterson, Professor of Speech and Language Therapy at Liverpool University.
Participants will also be invited to take part in live, sandpit-style activities. The focus will be on collaboration, creativity and the sharing of diverse perspectives with an intention of stimulating new important questions, novel project ideas, and innovative solutions.
This event is free but we have limited spaces available so you must register your interest by 23rd October 2026. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
** Photographs will be taken at this event and used on, but not limited to, CHORAL website and social media www.choralresearch.org.uk. Anyone wishing to opt out of this should let a member of the CHORAL team know on the day.
** Information you provide will be stored securely and accessible to the CHORAL team.
