Peripheral vascular diseases, such as aneurysms and/or peripheral arterial disease (PAD), are associated with high mortality, morbidity, lower quality of life and impact on healthcare systems. This lecture will cover the journey of Professor Saratzis from an early career academic to designing and delivering large scale applied vascular research and trials via collaborative networks.
