Sign up now to the Celebrating Class centenary conference, taking place on March 4th from 10:00 am – 16:00 pm, in-person, in Miller G05 on Whiteknights campus.
“We’ve fought to be in this place. We’re still fighting for it.”
As part of the University of Reading’s Centenary celebrations, Celebrating Class: Working-Class Identities at Reading looks at the past, present and future of working-class life at the university. These conference talks, along with an exhibition in the library foyer, will showcase archival research, interview transcripts and stories to show how class shapes the everyday experiences of our learning community.
