EPQ Excellence Conference 2025
Thursday 19th June 2025
The University of Southampton and the University of Leeds are excited to be partnering again to deliver a free one-day EPQ Teachers' Conference in 2025*. This conference is aimed at practitioners from state schools/colleges seeking to develop and enhance their project qualification programmes. This event provides a space for teachers and other professionals to share their experiences and expertise, and build valuable networks.
We are excited to confirm the following sessions for this year's conference:
- AQA will be delivering a dedicated session on artefacts, led by Christine Andrews (author of the AQA Extended Project Qualification textbook) , alongside experienced teachers, Dr Rachel Allen (Ashton Sixth Form College) and Emma Ryding (Allerton Grange Sixth Form).
- Helen Turner, Principal Moderator for Pearson Edexcel, will also be delivering a lightning talk on the Performance EPQ.
- Dr Heather Mozley, our Access & Participation Evaluation Manager, will lead a practical workshop on using the Theory of Change framework - a powerful tool to strengthen your EPQ programme's design and impact on students' success. This session will explore how the Theory of Change framework can help you map the link between your EPQ activities, outcomes and impact, offering a clear view of how different elements of your EPQ programme work together to drive meaningful change within your organisation.
The conference and its programme will also take place at the University of Leeds on Friday 4th July 2025.
