Gerontology is the scientific study of ageing from social, economic, psychological, and cultural aspects. We offer distance learning and on campus programmes, both full-time and part-time. Our programmes combine interdisciplinary and international perspectives on ageing and policy with research methods and data analysis skills. Our research-led teaching is delivered by world-leading experts. The University of Southampton ranks 12th in the UK and 81st globally.
