AI Regulation Assurance for Safety-Critical Systems

You are invited to join us at the historic venue of the Churchill War Rooms in Westminster, London for our third international workshop in this series (USA, Australia, and United Kingdom). In this workshop -- uniting multiple disciplines and engaging academics, industry professionals, and regulators -- we will explore an AI case-study in a world cafe-style format. Our selected case-study on AI radio watchkeeping addresses an emerging technology that intersects communications, maritime, and aerospace sectors. Together, we will translate AI regulation principles in terms of safety assurance, and discuss aspects of the UK's "pro-innovation approach" to AI regulation. The aims of this workshop include bringing together many different voices into one room, capturing a view of the UK's national conversation about AI safety, and identifying open research areas for further innovation.
