Stop by our eco-poetry and art workshop where you'll be guided through gathering materials and making your own eco-poems & sculptures, set within an exhibition of eco-poems by esteemed artists and poets themed around the how we treat the environment. The best part—you can join the exhibition if you want your creations to hang with the team of artists and writers at the Ministry!
Join Dr Angela Szczepaniak, lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Surrey, alongside works from poets and artists including Christina Thatcher, a rawlings, Peter Jaeger, Liz Bahs, Yusra Dahri, Melanie Hyo-Han, Genevieve Grant and Astra Papachristodoulou.
Explore eco-poetry and sculptures, and learn what makes an ecopoem. No poetry writing or art experience necessary!
If you're into eco art or poetry, drop in to poke around the exhibition which is running 9 - 16 November and throw your own work into the mix!
This event is being held at Zero Carbon Guildford. The venue includes accessible toilets, welcomes assistance dogs, pushchair/pram friendly, seating, step-free access and is wheelchair accessible.
