Join Dr Tammi Sinha, Director of Studies for Undergraduate Programmes at Surrey Business School, for an energising, hands-on workshop that uses the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method to spark fresh thinking, meaningful dialogue, and collaborative problem-solving.

Through guided activities and group conversations, you’ll explore:

• What kind of work-life do you really want?
• How play and creativity can help us tackle complex challenges.
• New ways to listen, reflect, and connect with others.

No prior experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to build, reflect, and share.

You’ll leave the workshop with fresh insights about yourself and your working life, along with practical tools to support everyday reflection and collaboration. You will also go home with a LEGO SERIOUS PLAY starter kit!

Suitable for young people (ages 16–25), including students and early career professionals, who are beginning to think critically about their future work lives and personal values. Adults in transition—those rethinking their careers, facing burnout, or seeking greater purpose and wellbeing in their working lives. Community groups, educators, and practitioners who are interested in creative, participatory approaches to learning, dialogue, and organisational change.

The workshop is free to attend, and is running as part of the Economic and Social Research Council Festival of Social Science 2025.
