What's on in 2024 to Celebrate Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Heritage and Culture

Mark the new year with an exciting celebration of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller culture and heritage! Nomadic communities have contributed to British society for centuries, but many are unfamiliar with their rich history and ways of life.

No matter your background, the Student Engagement and Enhancement Team, and the Widening Participation Team, invite you to this fun and interactive session in the Student Centre. Pop in between 12-2pm and experience making your own Romani Tea, tasting a traditional Romani snack, and getting creative with our arts and crafts - to celebrate and better understand the diverse cultures of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. You will also learn about our calendar of events to uplift GRT students in 2024!
