Beginner Bike Ride from campus to Brighton

Would you like to feel more confident cycling from campus to town? Join us for a guided ride from the University to the centre of Brighton on Sussex’s Travel Day on 14th April.

Brighton can feel busy, but it has dedicated cycling infrastructure in place to help you cycle safely from campus. Whether you’re looking to build confidence or thinking about commuting by bike for the first time, join Monika to explore your sustainable travel options.

We’ll cycle from campus to the Level. The entire route is on dedicated cycling lanes, however you need to already be comfortable on a bike to take part.

This is a great opportunity to:

• Try out the route in a supportive group

• Become a more confident cyclist

• Meet like-minded students and staff

What to bring:

• Your own bike

• A helmet (must be safe to use in order for you to take part).

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy. If you have any questions or would like to borrow a helmet, contact Monika at m.farkas@sussex.ac.uk.
