The LGBTQ+ Staff Network, in collaboration with the Trans and Non-Binary Staff Network, is delighted to present Vibrations from Mars, an immersive sound bath and meditation session led by queer drag artist and certified yoga and meditation teacher, Gaylien de Mars.

This unique one-hour session combines restorative soundscapes with guided meditation to create a deeply calming and grounding experience. Using sound bowls, koshi chimes, steel drum, and ethereal vocals, Gaylien will take you on an interstellar journey designed to quiet the mind, restore balance, and invite relaxation.

You are welcome to take part in whatever way feels comfortable - lying on a yoga mat, sitting on a chair or a bean bag, or simply resting and listening. Gentle guidance will be offered throughout, but all participation is optional.

This event is neurodivergent-friendly. The space will be softly lit with ambient music as people arrive. Participants are welcome to stim, fidget, move, or vocalise during the session. You may also step out at any time and return when ready. Noise and movement are fully accepted in this space.

The session is designed to be inclusive of all bodies and abilities, with no pressure to engage in stretching or physical activity.

Further information:

  • Please bring a yoga mat or blanket if you would like to lie down (chairs and bean bags will also be available).
  • Comfortable clothing is recommended.
  • The session lasts around 60 minutes.
  • Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

Admission is free, but please book your tickets in advance due to limited capacity.
