All Staff Networks Campus Walk, Cuppa and Cake!

Join Us for Our First Joint Event: Campus Walk, Cuppa & Cake!

We are excited to invite you to a special event organised by the staff networks: a Campus Walk, Cuppa & Cake meet-up on Wednesday, 14 May, from 1:30PM to 3:00PM. This is our first joint network event, designed to bring our members together, offering a wonderful opportunity to connect with each other on the National Day for Staff Networks! You can choose to participate in all aspects of the event or just join us for the part that interests you the most. 

This event is open to all staff at the University, so please come along if you want to meet our network chairs and members.

During the event, the organisers will be dressed in green to make them easily identifiable.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday, 14th May

Time: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

We will be walking from Library sqaure to Stamner house and then back to the Meeting house at Sussex. At the meeting house we will have some cake and drinks prepared for the people returning.

Please remember to bring water, sunscreen, appropriate footwear and clothes depending on the weather.

Dogs are welcome to join us for the walk, if you have a fluffy friend and want to bring them!

Route:

To make the route accessible to everyone, it is step free.

We will be meeting at the Meeting House and starting the walk from Library Square, then go to Stamner house, and then return to the Meeting house.

Schedule:

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Walk to Stamner House

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Cuppa & Cake at the Meeting House

For those who prefer not to join the walk, there will be people staying at the Meeting house, so you can still come along for a cuppa and cake!

Who Can Attend?:

This event is open to all members and staff at the university, whether you are part of a network or not. We welcome everyone to join us and encourage you to forward this invitation to others. It's not a closed meet-up, so come along for the walk or just for a cuppa and cake!
