Trans Pride Party

Join the Trans & Non-Binary Staff Network and the LGBTQ+ Staff Network for a relaxed lunchtime celebration of Trans Pride on Thursday 16 July, 12:00–2:00pm. This event is Drop-In and will be held on the Ground Floor of the Meeting House as well as the outside area. This event is for members of the Trans & Non-Binary Staff Network and the LGBTQ+ Staff network as well as allies. 

What to expect

• 🍕 Free pizza (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free)
• 🎵 Live acoustic and electronic music by local queer musicians
• 🎨 A zine making workshop led by artist Az Franco
• ❤️ A quiet sensory space for anyone who would benefit from a calmer environment
• 🌈 Chalk art on Library Square during and after the picnic
• ✨ Plenty of friendly faces and relaxed conversation

It will also be a chance to say goodbye to any colleagues you have in our networks, if they're leaving the Uni —  while celebrating who we are and our queer resistance ✊
