About the speaker
Manuel Heichlinger, Managing Director at Audeliss Ltd (Human Resource Management MA, 2012)
Manuel has nearly 20-years of international experience in executive talent acquisition. His career began at a FTSE-250 recruitment company, managing finance searches across Berlin, Hamburg, and London. He then transitioned to one of the largest RPO businesses, leading talent acquisition teams for global brands in the consulting and financial services sectors. In 2016, Manuel moved in-house to head up recruiting teams in EMEA and LATAM for a global tech company, focusing on sales, marketing, and finance roles. Before joining Audeliss, he served as Director of Recruiting and HR EMEA for one of the fastest-growing tech startups in the IoT sector, where he was responsible for all people and recruiting matters for their European employees.
As Audeliss’ Managing Director, Manuel applies his strengths in active listening, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset into leading the delivery and research team globally. Having been one of the few openly gay people in the German recruiting industry at the start of his career in 2004, Manuel continues to shape Audeliss’ mission to build more diverse businesses. His experiences allow him to create exceptional candidate experiences while championing visible diverse role models. He holds two Master's degrees in Economics and International Human Resources Management, along with CIPD qualifications. Fluent in both German and English, he has worked across various regions, including EMEA, the US and APAC.
Outside of work, Manuel is an avid reader, a dedicated hobby cook and baker, a lover of the theatre and classical music, a skilled piano player, and a passionate traveler who often explores new destinations with his husband.
