Our feisty foundation invests in awesome businesses that address some of society's biggest issues. Come meet Elizabeth, who runs the foundation, along with Kimberly McGlonn, one of the entrepreneurs we invest in and actively support.
Kimberly McGlonn, PhD, will knock your socks off with her vision, energy, and smarts. This high school English teacher has created Grant Blvd, a fashion business that addresses "fast fashion" -- by making all of its designs out of clothing from thrift stores -- and criminal justice -- through hiring returning citizens from prison. She's also a mother and a councilwoman in her community, and she still has the energy to run a business.
You will hear fascinating stories with time for questions and dialogue.
Stay tuned for future events in this series. You've probably read about some of these "investees," and now you can meet them! They are guaranteed to give you hope for this world!
