Andalusia: Flamenco Guitar Mini-Concert

Join us in Cordoba with Baris Yavuz, a professional flamenco guitar performer and teacher. He performs as a soloist and as an accompanist all over Europe. We hope that this short performance along with his spoken explanations will make you interested in seeing more of Baris during our Virtual Weekend in Andalusia. Baris will play different pieces in this short "preview" performance than he will in his full one-hour performance as part of the Virtual Weekend.

Baris Yavuz was born in Turkey and has been playing guitar since he was 13 years old. He began his study of Flamenco in Seville. Baris graduated from the Superior Conservatory of Music in Cordoba in 2017. During and since his studies he has taught and performed throughout Europe. He is currently based in Cordoba.
