Event Overview:

UN Women invites you to celebrate the UN’s 50th observance of International Women’s Day and 30 years since the revolutionary Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action with inspiring global women leaders - drawn from the worlds of activism, business, entertainment, art, sport, human rights - and a Broadway cast performance! Join us and senior UN officials in the iconic United Nations General Assembly Hall, on 7 March 2025, 10:00am, to celebrate progress on women’s rights, spark action and rally for a future where all women and girls everywhere enjoy rights, equality and empowerment.

Entry Requirements:

To attend the International Women’s Day event in person at the United Nations General Assembly Hall on 7 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m., you will need a physical ticket.

Here’s what you need to do to get a ticket and enter:

• Click the blue ‘REGISTER’ button and use your full name as it appears on your official photo ID to RSVP.

• Check your inbox for a confirmation email with details on where to collect your ticket.

• On the day of the event, bring your ticket and official ID. The name on your ticket must match your ID for you to access the United Nations General Assembly Hall.

We’d love to celebrate with you, but you will not be able to attend the event if the above conditions are not met.

* UN Pass Holders do NOT need to collect tickets to attend this event, but do need to register.
