Hope in Action: The UN Women UK Summer Party

Wed 24 Jun 2026 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM Mall Galleries, SW1Y 5AS

UN Women UK's biannual summer fundraising party returns — this time in collaboration with the Society of Women Artists, at one of London's most iconic gallery spaces.

Join us on the evening of 24 June for an evening of art, music, spoken word, and community. Doors open at 6.30pm. The gallery closes at 8.30pm.

The evening: art, celebration and togetherness

Mall Galleries will be alive with new work from the Society of Women Artists' annual exhibition — and for one evening, it's ours.

Hear from Rachel Parker, President of the Society of Women Artists, and Tabitha Morton, CEO of UN Women UK. Reinvigorate yourself with hope as we explore what’s next for Rights. Justice. Action. for all women and girls.

The programme also includes live music from Tara Minton — a harpist, vocalist, and composer who has performed with Björk, at the BBC Proms, and at Ronnie Scott's. London Jazz News called her playing "palpably joyful."
She'll be performing live as you move through the Society of Women Artists' 165th Annual Exhibition.

The full gallery will be open throughout the evening, with drinks available and time to connect with a community of people committed to gender equality.

Dress code: dress to celebrate.

A fundraising event: building an equal future for all women and girls

This is a fundraising event. Every ticket directly supports UN Women UK's work — 100% of proceeds fund our programmes.

Half supports women and girls in the world's most urgent humanitarian crises. Half funds our advocacy and education work here in the UK.

For every piece of artwork sold on the night, 10% goes directly to UN Women UK.

Be part of a live artwork from SWA artist Gail Reid

What is it that holds us together as we strive for change? SWA artist Gail Reid will be joining us on the night to translate your words into a live piece, reflecting the power of community and togetherness as we build a gender equal world.

Complete the prompt at checkout for the chance for your words to be a part of the piece.

Make sure you're a part of it on 24 June

The world doesn't change on its own. It changes because people decide — again and again, in good moments and hard ones — that it should.

This is one of those moments. A night to come together, to see what's possible when creativity and commitment share a room, and to put real resource behind the work that needs doing.

Get your tickets today.

Please note the venue is fully accessible. If you have any specific requirements please contact us at info@unwomenuk.org
