The Great Goat Grab: Dinner & A Heist

Join us for dinner and a heist at our Great Goat Grap art fundraiser event benefiting the Potentialist Collective. All ticket sales support the collective's upcoming exhibits in Italy at the International Art Fair in Rome and the Electric Truth Trading Company gallery show in Florence. Help this Reno collective bring our strange and wonderful art overseas this December! Only 50 tickets are available for this dinner and art extravaganza. 

Participants will enjoy a buffet style dinner from Reno Recipes, music from Emerson and Kristophari, a silent auction with high value items like artwork from Tom Franco, a fantastic package from the Atlantis hotel & casino and more. The event will culminate in our signature art heist featuring 50 goat paintings from local artist Pan Pantoja. We are so excited to spend a magical night with you at Reno's newest event space, The Weigh Station. All ticket holders will leave with an original painting by Pan Pantoja.

The venue: 

The Weigh Station is Reno's newest premier private event space with stunning views of the Reno skyline located conveniently in the Reno Brewery District. The main buildings are original weigh station for the Train Depot built in the 1920’s by the Madsen Family as a place to unload wood and coal. It was used as a local train weigh station until 1978 when the buildings were abandoned. In 2012 the grandson David Madsen purchased the property from the family and began to create the new Weigh Station, built around the existing buildings and scale area.

The food:

Reno Recipes is a Reno‑based private chef service offering restaurant‑quality dining, in‑home chef experiences, cooking classes, and celebration events in Reno and Northern Nevada. "We believe the best meals are about more than what's on the plate. They're about the people around the table, the conversation, the laughter, and the moments that stay with you long after dinner is over. We use exceptional ingredients and thoughtful preparation to create food that feels both elevated and personal." Dinner will also include a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 

The music:

DJ Kristophari is a Reno‑based DJ and pianist known for blending deep house, progressive house, chill, and tech with classical and cinematic elements, creating unique, instrument‑rich sets. Emerson Casey is a transformational tattooist, artist and musician. She transforms emotion through frequency — creating music for remembrance, healing, and embodied truth.

The art:

Pan Pantoja has taught art for over 20 years- including theater, art, mural painting, and poetry. Under his coaching, his students have won at the state level and competed at the national level three times in the National Poetry Out Loud Competition. Pan is the art director and founder of The Potentialist Workshop and the Upside Down Universe. Grab yourself a piece of his latest collection at the heist element of this interactive dinner party. 

The goal:

The Potentialist Workshop is a multidisciplinary collaborative arts collective based in Reno, Nevada. Its practice brings together artists, makers, performers, educators, designers, and collaborators across painting, sculpture, installation, muralism, performance, theater, music, neon, mixed media, textiles, technology, and experimental forms. The collective’s stated philosophy, Potentialism, deliberately blurs boundaries between art forms and supports artists in exploring the full range of their creative potential. The Potentialist team is traveling to Italy in December 2026 to display works at the International Art Fair in Rome and to exhibit a full gallery installation at the Electric Truth Trading Company in Florence. Our Great Goat Grab Dinner and A Heist art fundraiser will help make our trip to Italy possible.
